More About Me
I am a Systems Architect, Software Developer and Ex-Games Developer with a BSc (Hons) in Games Design and Development. I have many years of experience in applications development and networking. I have excellent client facing skills. I have developed commercial and bespoke software. I have extensive knowledge of databases and systems architecture. I am a designer and developer of single user and networked systems. I am experienced in R & D, code porting/refactoring, UI design, Internet/Intranet development and client server technologies.
I am also an experienced web developer (web 2.0 & 3.0) and I use Javascript frameworks such as Node, NPM, jQuery amongst others, to offer a dynamic AJAX like environment with a minimal JavaScript code library. I have worked with WordPress to rapidly deliver quality sites that end-users can maintain.
I have extremely strong C++/C#, MFC and .NET skills producing elegant solutions to developments on Windows architectures, connected to various data sources. I am familiar with N-Tier development and integration of legacy systems with current technologies and frameworks.
I’ve worked on many SaaS developments on various enterprise level archtectures for various companies / organisations. I have experience working on many pharmaceuticle frameworks such as, Veeva / Salesforce, Cegedim / MI Nexus, Agnitio, Tridion and Sanofi’s Sitecore for different clients.
I’ve worked on VLE, (Virtual Learning Environments) and blendid environments, for Universities using the JANET infrastructure connected to CMS systems such as Blackboard, Immediacy as well as other traditional web deployment frameworks.
In addition I have experience working with Apple developments using Apple’s app store for deployment and consumption on Apple Devices.

Frameworks and Eco Systems I have experience working in systems architectures; with various 1st and 3rd party API’s, SDK’s, Data Sources and CMS (Content Managed Systems). These are inherently dependant on the client or company I am working for.
Operating Systems that I have worked with depends on the client or company’s adopted architectures. I am happy in Windows, Mac OS X or mixed systems architectures. My development machine setups I prefer is dual booted Apple Mac systems.
Languages I have experience with both Structured and Agile development methodologies. Wether it’s for single-user or multi-user developments the chosen language depends on the best fit for the intended client consumption, (See my Resume for a summarized list).
Desktop and Mobile Developments I have managed projects / teams to develop various iPad, iPhone and Android apps. I usually get involved in the design and full development life cycle, whether that is through R&D, proof of concept or coding and delivery. I am experienced with Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Modelling packages and Video Editing Suites.

SINGLE USER / MULTI USER
I’ve developed both single user and multiuser software / apps on 3 tier and N-tier enterprise architectures. These span games development, military apps in conjunction with Lockheed Martin and SAIC. I’ve also worked on various web and mobile apps utilising CMS’s or SaaS frameworks with 1st and 3rd Party API’s. These involved contemporary web languages and their associated eco systems, for example NodeJS, Javascript frameworks and I’m currently delving into React, Vue and Angular.
